My Process

Information Gathering and Planning

The initial step in my web development process includes meeting with my client to discuss the goals of the website/project. During this stage, we will draw inspiration from other sites, define the necessities for the client's site, and brainstorm different functionalities.

Design

This stage can also be tied to the previous stage. But during this stage of development, I'll design wireframes and mockups of different page elements. I'll also define consistent pieces such as typography, colors, images, etc. After the client has reviewed and approved all of my proposed designs, we move on to the next segment in the process.

Development

With the design being finished and polished, I now begin converting the design into code. During the beginning of this process, I gather information from the design files such as margin sizes, breakpoints, color codes, and set variables. I also gather font families and import them into the project. After gathering everything needed, it's just a matter of building every element from the designs. Usually, from top to bottom.

Testing, Deployment, and Final Revisions

After the project is completely coded out, I'll test each element of the site/page and ensure they function properly and are fully responsive. Once everything seems appropriate, I deploy the website and allow my client to view the finished product. At that point, the client can make any last revisions and change any content that they feel needs changed.
